Ammonite and Jasper Earrings

These handmade ammonite jasper earrings with surgical steel hooks are for sale. The earrings are two and five eighths inches in length from the top of the hook. They are one inch in width. The ammonite is brown with a pattern that resembles snowflake edges. The jasper oval beads are a pinkish wine color blended with green. The small round beads are green jasper with flecks of clear white.

An ammonite is a small sea creature that lived about 150 million years ago but became fossilized over time into a hard and smooth stone-like surface.
